BlackBerry Bold 9900 would go to Virgin Mobile Canada as soon as possible

It seems that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 will soon be coming to Mobile Canada soon, though RIM has not been sure when the device is officially released. Virgin Mobile Canada has officially announced that they will soon get the BlackBerry Bold 9900 very soon.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 has better features than the previous version of the Bold, such as:

  • BlackBerry OS 7
  • VGA touchscreen display,
  • QWERTY keyboard (like other Bold, of course),HSPA,
  • dual-band Wi-Fi,
  • GPS, NFC,
  • 5MP autofocus camera, video recording 720p,
  • 1.2 GHz processor, and
  • 8GB on-board memory.
If the news from Virgin Mobile is true, that means this device will be available there about a few weeks. Nevertheless there is still concern whether this will actually happen or not, considering thatthere are some rumors that say this phone will be delayed until at least September 2011. Since Virgin Mobile Canada is a subsidiary of Bell, the latter will launch new smartphone in Canada, too.

While in the United States the new Bold is supposed to be released by T-mobile, while the UK will get it for the first time through Vodafone.
